What is Summer Food for AB Kids?
- The Acton Boxborough Resource Center has partnered with the Food and Nutrition Department to provide free summer lunch meals for AB kids and teens. The program is sponsored by Maynard Open Table and the Acton Boxborough Food Pantry.
How do I access this program?
- Each week, please fill out the sign-up sheet with the Acton Boxborough Resource Center to be able to pick up meals. It can be found through the following link or the QR code on the flyer above.
When is pick up?
- Pick up will be once a week on Wednesdays, and will provide 3 meals per child to take home.
Is it grab-and-go?
- Yes! Once you sign up, you can pick up the meals at the Acton Boxborough Resource Center and bring them home with you. Eating on-site is not needed.
Is my kid or teen eligible for free meals?
- All kids in Acton or Boxborough between the ages of 3 and 18 qualify for this program
What types of meals or food will be offered?
- All meals are made at Open Table. There will be a meat and a vegetarian option to choose from.
How long will the program run?
- The pick up dates of the program include: 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, and 8/26
